Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes. Our minimum spend for weddings and events is $3,500.

This allows us to provide the level of creative direction, preparation, floristry and styling that goes into every Wild Blue event.

Do you travel outside the Blue Mountains?

Yes. While we're based in the Blue Mountains, we regularly travel to Sydney, the Southern Highlands, Mudgee, Orange and other locations across NSW and beyond.

Travel fees apply depending on location and will be included in your proposal.

Do you only do weddings?

No. Weddings are a big part of what we do, but we also create florals and styling for corporate events, brand events, milestone celebrations, private events and editorial projects. From considered florals and tablescapes through to larger-scale event styling, we can tailor our involvement to suit your brief.

Do you offer wedding styling as well as wedding flowers?

Yes. Wild Blue Studio is both a wedding florist and event styling studio. Alongside bouquets, buttonholes and ceremony flowers, we can style reception tables, candles, signage, furniture, installations and other decorative elements, as well as coordinate stationery where required. Bringing these elements together means we can create a cohesive look across your day without you needing to coordinate multiple creative suppliers.

Do you provide wedding flowers in Sydney?

Yes. Although we're based in the Blue Mountains, we regularly travel to Sydney and surrounding areas for weddings and events.

Can we lock in the specifics closer to the date or do we need to sort the finer details prior to booking?

You don't need every detail worked out before booking. We understand that ideas evolve as your event gets closer, and we'll continue working with you to refine the design, colours, quantities and finer details throughout the planning process. The important thing is having enough of the overall direction established to secure your date and begin the process.

Can you style corporate events?

Absolutely. We provide floristry and event styling for corporate dinners, launches, brand events, conferences, celebrations and other business events. Our corporate work can range from considered floral arrangements and tablescapes through to larger-scale installations and complete event styling. We can work from an existing brand direction or develop a visual concept with you, depending on what you need. Do you use floral foam?

No. We don't use traditional floral foam. Instead, we use alternative mechanics and reusable vessels wherever possible. This allows us to create considered floral designs without relying on a single-use product that is difficult to dispose of responsibly.

It also means arrangements can be dismantled more easily after an event, allowing flowers to be enjoyed, repurposed or composted.

Can you repurpose ceremony flowers at the reception?

Where the flowers are still in good condition and the logistics allow, yes. We can design certain ceremony arrangements and installations with repurposing in mind, allowing them to move into the reception rather than creating an entirely separate set of flowers. Weather and the location of the ceremony can affect whether this is practical, so we'll discuss the options with you during the planning process.

What do you do with the flowers after the event?

The flowers are generally yours to keep. Many couples choose to take arrangements home or invite guests to take flowers with them at the end of the event. We simply ask that our vessels, vases, stands and other styling pieces are left behind for us to collect, as these are part of our reusable system. If you'd prefer us to handle the flowers after the event, we can discuss options such as donating suitable flowers to a local nursing home or arranging sustainable disposal.

Do you offer pack down after the event?

Yes. Pack down is available as an additional service. We'll return towards the end of your reception, collect our vessels and styling pieces, dismantle the floral arrangements and take care of the relevant clean-up.

If you don't require pack down, you can arrange for someone from your event to remove the flowers and return our vessels and styling pieces to our Woodford studio.

We have some great creative friends - can they help with the setup?

We love a helpful crew, but for floral and styling installations we prefer our team to handle the setup ourselves. This allows us to make sure everything is installed safely and according to the agreed design, without you needing to coordinate another person or vendor on the day.
